Job Summary:

Front Gate Tickets is North America's leading software and operations provider for the festival market. Front Gate Tickets' Finance Team is seeking an Accountant I (Staff Accountant) that will support the daily accounting and financial reporting activities for Front Gate Tickets. The ideal candidate is reliable, efficient and thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment. Knowledge or passion of the music/entertainment industry always a plus.


* Assists with month-end close tasks and preparation of financial statements.
* Prepares and records ticket sales deposits received from credit card merchants.
* Records and maintains prepaid software and signing bonus amortization schedules
* Reconciles credit card deposits to ticketing system and resolves any discrepancies.
* Reviews expense reports for all employees for proper GL coding, and prepares month-end accrual.
* Prepares journal entries for weekly client advances & settlements in accordance with executed contracts.
* Assisting with AR operations, including creating invoices and coordinating with internal/external partners for past due balances
* Cross-train with settlements team to assist during peak venue and festival settlement periods
* Responsible for manual check issuance process, positive pay review, and escheatment of unclaimed property to state
* Assists in analyzing and reconciling Balance Sheet accounts.
* Completes special ad hoc projects on an as needed basis.


* Bachelor's degree in Accounting field required
* 2+ years of accounting experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel in particular)
* A working knowledge of QuickBooks and Oracle, a plus
* Ability to prioritize multiple projects and manage time effectively
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organizational and analytical skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Positive attitude and a team player
* Ability to work flexible hours, especially during month end close
