What will you be doing in this role?

Under the supervision of manager/designee, and following established practices, policies and guidelines, provides administrative support in the Lactation Department and Prenatal Office. Performs general clerical and administrative duties which include, but are not limited to, the specific business operations of the offices.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling of patient/client appointments, managing supplies and inventory, and providing oversight of financial operations.
  • Demonstrates the ability to handle multiple tasks frequently with short time lines, prioritize and organize work, and complete assignments in a timely, accurate manner.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, and be comfortable working with the public.
***Note: This position is required to work on weekends. Incumbents must be available to work on weekends.

Required Job Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED, required.
Additional Qualifications we are looking for:
  • 1-2 years of administrative experience, preferred.
  • Excellent retail/customer service experience.
  • Ability and desire to be trained in the area of breastfeeding support.
  • Ability to balance multiple demands and/or manage complex and competing priorities in a high volume center.
  • Ability to work within tight time frames and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to demonstrate time management and priority setting skills.
  • Ability to use software applications and operate technological devices (e.g., computer, laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.).
  • Proficient working knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite.
