The Associate will work on the Finance and Investments team and will work closely with all senior TRT investment professionals. The role involves varying levels of involvement in all aspects of private equity investing, including:


The Associate will work on the Investments team with a primary focus on sourcing, evaluating and executing new opportunities as well as supporting the existing portfolio companies. The role involves high levels of involvement in all aspects of private equity investing, including:

* Participating in the screening of new opportunities and supporting the team's ability to source new investments across multiple industry verticals
* Leading the production of key deliverables including detailed financial models and investment memos
* Assisting with the negotiation, due diligence, valuation, structuring and execution effort for new acquisitions
* Performing special studies and analyses in areas such as financings, budgets, forecasts, hedging and cash flow consolidations
* Following industries strategic to TRT to learn the key drivers and trends that influence decisions and keep team members informed
* Preparing monthly TRT board meeting materials inclusive of detailed investment reviews and updates along with summarizing key developments for the executive team


TRT is seeking an Associate with strong analytical abilities and the maturity to be highly independent. Ideal candidates will have expertise in valuation, accounting, and financial analysis (specifically M&A-related modeling). Candidates should also have an understanding of leveraged transactions and the interpersonal skills required to work directly with counterparties, lenders, and advisors as well as the senior principals at TRT. The following qualifications are required to apply:

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent training
* One to four years of banking, private equity, accounting or financial analysis work experience
* Strong financial modeling ability with expertise in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
* A strong interest in and passion for issues related to investing
* Excellent quantitative abilities and analytical skills with a proven understanding of financial statements
* The ability to confidently interact with and influence internal and external relationships, including senior business executives
* Exceptional written and oral communications skills
* An eagerness to take initiative; the ability to work independently and multi-task; strong organizational skills
