Our Global Marketing team is seeking a Contract/Freelance Bios Editor to join a busy marketing division. Responsibilities include editing bios for the firm's professional staff to ensure clarity, consistency, conciseness, and adherence to template and brand guidelines. Occasional other work as needed. Contract employee will be utilized on an as-needed basis (10 hours max per week). Remote position. Requirements: * Minimum of two years editing experience (line editing and comprehensive/structural editing). * Strong writing skills. * Ability to strictly adhere to template/brand guidelines. * Familiarity with business writing. * Exceptional communication skills-the role entails frequent email communication with senior leadership. * Ability to turn work around quickly and effectively. * Detail oriented (perfectionists welcome). * Familiarity with AP style. * Ability to manage multiple projects in different stages of the editing process. * Qualified applicants will be asked to take a short editing test.
