A Lead/ Assistant teacher at The Goddard School is responsible for establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment.
Job requirements include:
Minimum of a High School diploma, BA or AA in early childhood education or related field desirable.
Teaching experience preferred.
Must pass Ohio BCII and FBI background checks.
Ability to work effectively with adults and children.
Provide age-appropriate individual and group instruction designed to meet individual needs of children in order to advance children’s physical and intellectual competence.
Support each child’s social and emotional development and provide positive guidance.
Establish positive and effective family relations.
Maintain professional commitment by staying knowledgeable in all state licensing duties and Goddard Quality Assurance standards ensuring compliance.
