Machine Operator, $17-20/hr, Howell, MI

We are seeking general laborers to help out with part washing in Howell, MI. The qualified candidate will be someone that's motivated, ready to go to work, and a self-starter. Job Purpose

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and executing simple maintenance on machinery for the packaging of live products. You will focus on producing high-quality products in a safe and efficient manner.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Packaging -efficiently package both bulk and pre-boxed biological products according to production schedule.

Quality - maintain company quality standards of packaging.

Safety - operate necessary machinery safely and ensure the safety of team members who may need to interact with or work around the machinery.

Maintenance - in tandem with our maintenance team hold a consistent standard of machinery care and troubleshoot problems as they arise. Support minor equipment adjustments as required, while requesting maintenance support for more substantial equipment repair as needed.

Bee Rearing support - assist rearing team in rearing procedures as needed.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Previous experience operating automated production/packaging machinery.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Minimum 1-year experience in production environment
  • Minimum 1-year machine operating experience
